Post lockdown struggles
Hello everyone,
Lockdown has been over for months now, our fight with corona is still going on.
Precautions have been taken, now it's time to fight back with a weapon everyone was desperately waiting for.... THE VACCINE!
Last year was a rollercoaster of different emotions.
Lockdown felt like the best and the worst thing that could ever happen. Eat, sleep, code ,binge watch and repeat was the mantra of my life.
Yeah, that mantra could feel depressing at times
But eventually it all passed and now here we are
Trying our best to get our lives back to normal.
We all somehow coped up with lockdown and as we all know that each stage of life has its own struggles so now it's time to deal with
the life which was already difficult but now we are more vulnerable to it.
During pandemic some people lost their lives, some lost their love and many lost their way to live.
So last year basically left impacts on our lives which made us more prone to anxiety , stress and depression. And the fact that we were home alone ,we became lazy. But now that our life is on a run ,we need to heal.
We really need to get rid of the bad habits we adopted during lockdown.
Given below are some of the things we need to wash it off from our time table to live better.
1) Oversleeping/insomnia
Since the lockdown started we ought to be productive ( I did ) but ended up binge-watching almost everything.
This disturbed our sleeping schedule, we couldn't sleep at night or wake up in the morning. So when lockdown was over, managing our routine was the most difficult task ever.
Being not able to wake up early led us to be late for our school , college or offices.
Since we didn't took the appropriate amount of sleep we needed ,we felt grumpy all day which automatically led to a bad day at work.
Excessive amount of screen time can make you feel depressive or stressed for no reason.
Headaches and migranes were common.
I myself got really dark dark circles.
A whole lot of people were dealing with COVID stress, overthinking almost everything, their head was always full of thoughts which led to insomnia.
Procrastination
We have been through a phase were all we had to do was lock ourselves up in our homes and be safe.
Yeah it sounds exciting but it was boring and relaxing at the same time.
